Working principle

  The cooling tower belongs to the heat exchange equipment system, and the medium and water used for heat exchange are not separated from the air. The cooling tower uses air to cool the water passing through it, and the heat transfer characteristic is that water is in direct contact with air. In the cooling water tower, the water forms a water film or water drop in the packing or is atomized upward by the spray nozzle. In the process of direct contact with the dry and cold air entering the tower, heat and mass transfer occurs simultaneously; Heat transfer is due to the temperature difference between water and air, while mass transfer is due to the continuous diffusion of water vapor formed by the surface evaporation of water into the air, while bringing the latent heat of water vaporization into the air. In the process of heat and mass transfer, the cooling process of water is called evaporative cooling process. Therefore, the heat emitted by water in the evaporative cooling process is composed of the first two parts, namely contact heat dissipation (conduction and convection) and evaporative heat dissipation.
