However, different anti-corrosion processes can be carried out according to the actual water quality, generally including hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion, fiberglass lining anti-corrosion, and epoxy coal tar paint anti-corrosion; Under the same tower shape, this structure is relatively more expensive compared to concrete cooling towers (because the construction and supply of concrete are generally the responsibility of the owner), but the overall cost is much lower than that of concrete structures. Therefore, the steel frame support of cooling towers is also more popular among users compared to concrete frame structures.

There is another type of cooling tower support structure called fiberglass support structure. The overall support of the cooling tower adopts fiberglass extruded profiles, which are mainly used in circulating water with special media.
